NO! not at all! I do this coming from the vet office or dog show.

Possible the lumps were not noticed.

I've seen a lot of clipped down goats at the National Show with scars from abcess lancing.

If you want to show goats be prepared to spend $$ on vet bills.

NC is pretty strict about the health of animals at the fairs (I used to show there). I wouldn't worry too much.

Here in Florida people bring their CAE goats to the shows and milk them with all the other goats standing around. Including babies. I picked up one of my babies at a show from the breeder, and I never let her touch the ground there!!!!
