Thanks! She's staying in the chicken yard right now so we had to keep the pesky birds out of it, lol. It was good thinking on his part

Ummmm, Suz, you don't expect that tree to keep it's lower leaves and branches, do you? And you might want to move the wheelbarrow.... all it will take is a running jump, sproing off the wheelbarrow, and over the fence she goes! she sure is cute, though!

Very nice girl. My friend and I seem to be forever transporting a goat or two or three in the back seat of her Corolla.

The tree can go, in fact I am glad to see her climbing it and eating it. The plan is to get her back in shape ( she needs copper and feet trimmed badly) but was wormed recently, then release her into a very very overgrown 1.5/2 acre lot of honeysuckle and scrub oak. (slowly of course to avoid issues) as her previous owner kept her purely on sweet all stock and timothy x2 daily for the last year.

Hopefully we get her little ND friend tomorrow if another buyer backs out. Sadly this has cut seriously into my fireworks budget for the year

LOL, yes the wheel barrow needs to go back to the garage, it's on 'the list' though that was a great image hehe. And as hubby stated, the tree can be nibbled no problemo, the chickens pull at it anyhow.

So happy to know that I'm not the only one who transports livestock (goats!) in the cargo area of my minivan.

Your gal is sure a cutie!

hehe, it sure seemed to work out great (the van). We use if for everything!
I'd always suggest one to people who are wishy washy on vans.

Thanks, she's turned out to be a real character

Nowhere in Texas will we be able to shoot off fireworks, as it is FAR to heavy of a wildfire risk during our drought.

Therefore, as a sign of sympathy for the hardships Texas is enduring (The ENTIRE STATE has been declared a disaster area, BTW.) EVERYONE should forgo buying fireworks and, instead, invest their money in goats.

I thought that is what minivans and suburbans were made for. Have I been confused for the last three years?

Nope! I talked to the original inventor of the Minivan and SUV, and discovered that carting livestock in the cargo area was EXACTLY what he had in mind when he designed them. But when the marketeers got hold of them, they all put out commercials of hauling things like groceries and soccer equipment about. He was rather frustrated about that.

But he is now happy because I have told him that there is a sector of sensible people putting his designs back to their intended use!

Ok, a mini-hijack here. I had a mouse in my engine. It ate its way through the air filter and MADE A NEST. That of course resulted in a tow bill and a couple hundred dollars in repairs. Get a sticky trap and get that little sucker before he eats somethin' important, LOL!

Such a relief! THANK YOU, Caliann! At least this is one thing that I am not confused about (ending with a preposition - don't tell my husband...)

She looks like a real sweetie! Now you'll have to get her a friend.

We were at a swap in April this year & I saw a couple pu 2 jersey calfs in the backseat of a car, a small car too. I couldn't believe it. Here we had our Big truck & all we bought was 4 Guinnea's & 2 ducks. Hehehe!

I love the pic of the goat in the backseat. I have thought of this when we bought our goats but chickened out. Pardon my ignorance, but dont they do goatie pee pee and poo poo? What do you do about this? I would like to use my van for hauling goats as well. It would open up a whole new world for me.

There was some "berries" we had to sweep out, but no pee. but that's what a tarp and hay is for. Neither of which we remembered over the excitement of getting our goat, but it was a short 5 mile drive.

Yeah, y'all have been hit hard. The drought is bad here as well, I can't believe all the stands, 5 & 6 stands on one corner. The fire risk is high here again as well, scary stuff.
