I've had quite the opposite experience. My doelings have been very nice and quiet.

Of course, Wegle Farms and Wintrwolf will be better able to tell how Trub's daughters are down the line, but so far, we've had lovely, quiet does kidded here on the farm.

i have mostly saanen and crosses of saanen. the one is a snubian, and her boer crossed kids are so terribly loud. they scream and cry, i have run out looking for some horrible thing to save them from, and its often just they lost sight of their mom. for a minute. they are almost of weaning age! i will not miss them when the guy comes for them. the mother is a pretty good milker, but if i ever need to sell another, it'll be her. the loud obnoxious attitude is not for me. she is also the one who always pushes thru the gates, rushes around and just is a 'pita'. she's nice in some ways too, but some days, errr!

ROTFL!

My absolutely worst gate-opener and most obnoxious PITA is my pygmy wether, Clark.

Don't get me wrong: I do love Clark. But oh! He can be such a trial! If there's something going on, that little eunuch is going to be in the center of it, stirring the pot.

Hmmmmm Nubian/Boer cross, loud, won't stay in the pasture? Sounds like a recipe for goat burger to me. The rule on my little farm is that we all have to get along. If they can't do that then they are gone, one way or the other, if you know what I mean. I do have a reputation for not having enough patience.
I loved my Nubians and did not think they were much louder than any other breed of goat with the exception of the LaMancha, which is the breed of goat that I now raise.
