I am aware of that, but it is superfluous.

Also, my 2 1/2-3 month old goat is losing hair on the rim of her ear. I am going to worm her but can I give her bolus yet or do I need to wait til she is six months?
Anyone know the answers to the above questions?

Yes, you can bolus now.

I don't weigh them. Dump the copper out of the bolus on a paper plate and make little piles. Half a 12.5 gm bolus is about 6.24 grams.

If you make three little piles, each one is about 4 grams.
