LOL Small world huh? I think the school & gin were both still open then......Now there's nothing, but two churches...one of those closed and combined with a larger towns church and the Noodle Church of Christ is headed that way too I think. My FIL was the major of Noodle & head of the "Noodle Militia" for a while....that's how we ended up here after our house fire in '07...he owned most of the houses and sold us one.

Would love to know how on earth this placed was named Noodle....just such an odd town name!

I've bought one system (complete) from Mike Perry, and then built one with parts and a pump from him.
Does anyone know if Perry's milkers come with the air tank??

You have to read the ebay posting, but in general.... YES!

It's easier to call him and ask for what you want exactly.

What I found is that Noodle means "nothing." Sort of like our local town of Nada, the Spanish word for nothing.

I make sure the last few squirts are out by hand, unless the doe still has kids on her. Then, I let them do the work.

LOL! Odd.....Obviously Noodle is "nothing" now, but it used to have a gin, school, some small businesses, a few churches, and the most booming business was the brothel Cattle pushers moving cattle from Sweetwater to Abilene stopped in Noodle for entertainment and rest

My father in law bought the old brothel, restored it, and lived there a few years before loosing it in a fire about 10 years ago..

Did he raise chickens? ROFL!!!

That is very cool!

Actually, one of my high school classmates is the girl in the movie Best Little W****house in Texas who is feeding the chickens during the opening credits, and one of my friends here in south Texas is an extra in one of the courthouse square scenes!

Note: we are experiencing thread drift.
