Caliann thank you for the kind words.

Actually you can show white Alpine does--it is not a disqualification, it is to be "discriminated against" according to the ADGA guidebook. Some judges do hold it against them and some do not. I remember Tracy Stampke (of Soldier-MTN) recounting one show where Italian Ice (the grand-dam of all three of these kids) went first in one ring and last in the second ring at the same show; showing the prejudice against white Alpines.

When we bought the sire, however, we were not looking at showing, we were wanting MILK and tho he be white, he has plenty of the genes to make lots of the fluid white that we sell to support our family!

Caliann the next time you come remind us to show you the dairy!

Congratulations! Nice babies! On a side note, we have a couple coming this evening to pick up a ND doeling and it's her birthday too! Such smart hubbies!

LeeAnne, I would LOVE to see your dairy! I was so busy with with new kids, and children (such wonderful, smart, well-mannered children you have, also!), and such, that it completely slipped my mind.

Currently Lulu is nestled between my ankles, asleep.

Happy birthday! Everytime I see those jewerly commercials around the holidays I tell DH, do you know how much hay/feed/straw/bedding/milking equipment/etc. that could buy? The only piece of jewerly I wear is my dog's urn pendant.
I wanna KIDnap Lulu!
