Glad you figured out where the blood was coming from, but does that mean she's most likely not PG then since today would be day 158 right?

at this point all I care about is HER well being. She is one wild doe Bob could not hold her so I could check. vet coming. I hate paying someone to do what I can do but need help holding.
she did deliver a small placenta but Im sure there's more in there. No udder, did manage a couple squirts.

cervix closed. x ray showed no more kids.
SHe gave her a hit of Exceed (antibiotic) & left more oxy to give later & is to be on peng 7 days.
I milked out quite a bit of colostrum, still no real udder.
Examining a string of tissue coming out she called Bob over."You're a man this is about 6" right?

I am so sorry about the kid but sure hope your doe does well! Let us know how she does the next few days.
Such a bummer when you wait 5 months, worry & stress about every little thing with our animals & then something like this happens! Sending Hugs!

Thanks so much everyone!

Doe doing fine. Glad I had vet out, besides not having oxy or the super anitbiotic, she xrayed her, no kids in there.
I think she knew we were trying to help her.
She lets me milk her unassisted but still no udder which is fine all I wanted was the colostrum.

Gosh Jcran, day 171 !!? Or was it cause the date was miscalculated? What kind of birth weights?

Backfourty Im so thankful that the season ended this way rather than at the start.

Day 171 was my way of jokingly say that she BRED on the cycle AFTER I counted. After about day 155 I think I realized she'd bred on the next cycle and I relaxed a little. And yep, 21 days after day 150 out popped two perfectly formed kids.
