LOL I lit 2 grass fires The first one started around my feet and I didn't know it was burning until my legs got hot and I melted part of my boot sole....second one wasn't as bad, but after that I wet down a circle around my work area

Tried to put a basket made out of expanded metal to attach to the front for alfalfa hay or to put a feed pan in........Got it all done, was feeling proud that I got it on and it's freakishly sturdy......

AND... I attached it WAY too high!! :

Tried getting it off but I stuck it on there quite solid and if I use the touch to cut it off, I'll blow through the head gate pieces Don't have a saw that will work so I'm going to try to dremel them off one weld at a time......which is going to be extremly tedious and take ages....so for now I'm going to use it "as is" because I have to work on Sabrina's feet tomorrow.....

Up side is I won't have to tie her to the fence & have a helper to do her feet because even though the failed hay feeder/basket is too high, it will still hold a goat!

I am impressed! I am a carpenter, so used wood for mine. Having DH and Dad around here, I would "hope" I don't have to weld, but actually, I would like to learn!
