You are so right about Boston Blackie! We thought she was finished at four kids, and it was two hours later when we realized she had another. Overdone!

I have to ask the obvious although slightly dumb question....will she beable to feed them all? Or will they just start solid food a little earlier?

I will make ANYONE a good deal on bucklings. They will be registered. I think Nehimama has dibs on Charlie One. Anybody else wanting a flashy MiniMancha buckling?

We are working on supplementing anyone who doesn't have a full tummy with a bottle. Sometimes they want one, sometimes they don't.

After they are a bit bigger, we will have to separate some of them from the dam. Nehimama says they will tear up her udder competing for a teat.

Hmmm, I'm sorely tempted. Are you willing to ship? I don't know if I could talk my hubby into it though.

I haven't ever shipped a goat. Somebody will have to tell me how hard it is.

Is southern Missouri any more convenient? Or Memphis? I'll be there in May.

No, I'm in Virginia, pretty far from both places. If you think you might want to give shipping a try let me know, and I'll start petitioning my hubby. For some reason he said he wants to try to AI (himself!) the does this year instead of considering getting a buck.

These guys are just so cute!!

Now, on the news today...not local news...not provincial news, but national news!! was a story about a sheep who had 5 babies.

Is it just very rare for sheep?
