I have two Manchas, so I probably am not the one to ask about them, buy I love haw sweet they are. Some goats I have had, are snotty bossy and just plain old RUDE. My older doe (Moon Beam) is a sweet as they come! She will fill my milk bucket as much as I wish, with the sweetest milk in the world, and give me a back rub to boot!! She also is a great foster mommy, if I ever need one, although she steals babies if we aren't careful. Oh, and they are quiet!! They rarely complain....that's my two bits!!

Yes. Both. They are so incredibly sweet and calm and they give great milk. My girls usually have very high production as well.

LaManchas are know for having long lactations also. I've been milking my doe for 20 mos. straight and she is around six pounds a day now and I am looking forward to spring when she may go up to maybe around a gallon a day. I am into extended lactation goats.

LaManchas are incredibly sweet, quiet, sensible, goats with long level lactations and extremely cute little ears.
