And for the owner, maybe a glass of red wine, a bit of cheese, and some bread?
Yes, Pony - I think so.

She is looking good and perky tonight - her whole "girl area" is a mess - VERY Swollen - but there was a lot of trauma there. . .

I milked some pressure off, but I am not sure - would it hurt to just let her dry up - just milk enough to keep pressure off or no?

I'm no expert, but why would you want to dry her off? (Unless you don't like goat's milk.) With my milk cows, I try to get her in the milking routine asap to keep the udder and teats healthy. I realize there's gonna be a withdrawel time from keep the milk since she's had excenel, but the other critters would love to have it poured in their bowl. (dogs, chickens, pigs.)

Not being bossy here, just wondering.......

Just do to the damaged teats and overall stress of the kidding - I thought it might be a good idea...but I am starting to think that might make it worse, trying to dry her off, that is.

It will actually be less stressful for her to be milked. Her hormones and instincts are telling her this is what should be happening right now. It will help her uterus get back to normal as well.

I have read that you can use Prep H on her to help reduce the swelling.
