Now that's just mean!

BUT...if you stare into her eyes and become one mentally with the goat, you can hear her say "I want to live with Mammabooh. I want to live with Mammabooh. Are you listening? I want to live with Mammabooh".

Oh, I was just kidding about you being mean!

I'm hoping that Newt is just hiding her pregnacy and that she will be a very good goat for me. I think she's one of the prettiest goats I've ever seen (and she seems like a charmer).

Folks...I don't know if this is normal goat behavior, but Newt was in a pen with several others. Kim opened the door, called for Newt, and Newt came trotting out. I loved that! I could see it if Newt was the only goat of Kim's in a pen of others, but they were all her goats. I think I liked it so much because, when I was little, quite a few of my grandpa's milk cows knew their names and would come when he called them. I loved it then and I love it now. Maybe I'm just simple!

It depends on the goat. I have does in the herd that know their name. They hear me and know it is time for their food. There are others that also know their name but charge the door anytime I am feeding. We have cows that are the same way.
Newt is definitely a charmer.

I knew you were!
They all mostly know their names, they are barn-schooled early on. They are very smart goats! Little SueBee is coming to her name already! Gotta get more pics soon.
