Alice you better not have put a jinx on us lol If you have we are going to send you all our bucklings, lol.

So far 3 doelings and 2 bucklings, last year about 67% were doelings. Real kidding season happens March till May so I will keep hoping for doelings

Kim you have to spin them counterclockwise for doelings then a couple of shakes, this really confuses the male sperm

I'll remember that for next year. Once they get lost, we know they won't stop to ask for directions.

You guys crack me up!!!

Yup, we finally got a buck year after breeding for five years, so far five kids and four are little bucks. Well, two are still bucks and one of them may lose an important part too. But we have four more does to deliver and then lambing will begin.

Alice I don't know WHAT you are talking about. *sticks fingers in ears* La la la la I can't hear you...

We are having doelings here starting in June. Yes we are. I told Hondo I only wanted girls and he knows I am the Bringer of Tasty Treats, so... we are having doelings.

His first batch of kids was 7 doelings 4 bucklings, so... I'm hoping to have at least that good of an average here. *knock on wood*

Kidding hasn't started here yet but I am really hoping that my Ozark Jewels buckling is born and that the buckling I want from Tin Mom's doe Olive is born. On the flip side of that, my Tally had better hand over doelings, lol.

3 buckllings 11 doelings born this year

But the issue is I really only want milk. I have people who want or could use meat. I have 5 people asking and I feel bad to do up a doeling for meat ---guess this is the year to to test out the females for meat. Honestly it just seems wrong for me to do in one of the girls. There just not enough people who want to work for their milk.

We had one doe born last year!! grrrr...

I have talked to people who swear by apple cider vinegar for throwing does...

So I started my rabbits on it. I was getting about 70% boy bunnies,
after the vinegar...I am getting about 80-90%females..no joke!!

I only have four does bred again this year, I really am hoping this works!!

I really really want my minniemanchamunchkin doe outta Zydeco!!!

This thread is a riot!

We wont be kidding for a couple weeks or so, One year had mostly doelings it was that buck I do believe.
Usually its 6 of one & half a dozen of the other.
I too have a customer who prefers doelings for meat. That's a tough one. But have to look at it as that many less in the future.
Couple yrs ago put two FF sisters in a bldg. They had 7 bucklings between them. We still call that place The Penis Gallery.

Heey now... I'll ask for directions... If I actually think I need them.
But seriously, I actually do read instruction manuals.
