They are so cute! Darn that little buckling but look at what you got to show for him & you still have him as a sweet wether too!

Try putting a hot water bottle under a towel for the kids to snuggle on, that's what I do & the babies Love it when it's cold. They learn right where to go. Of course I have to change the towel just about daily but I have lots of old towels that are not for the bathrooms.

what an awesome surprise, I would love to go out to the barn, and see new little babies, without even knowing it, that way there was no stress on me, and no checking every hour on them, they are adorable!!

Too stinkin' cute! Almost...almost makes me want to get goats again! I used to put sweaters on the babies made out of old sweater sleeves cut with holes to keep the january babies warm. Then I found some little doggie fleece lined coats that worked really well and were waterproof. Gosh, I love goat babies...look away...look away!

You know I'm not to sure I should be following this thread! I woke up this morning worried about one of my first fresheners who looks larger than she should at this point. Now I'm wondering if she took on a much earlier breeding and I'M NOT READY FOR KIDDING! Aaargh!

Cute surprise! Love the little babies. I have a few bagged up now. I do hope they will wait a week for warmer weather though.

Ohhhhh...too cute, too adorable, glad I have five unplanned kids otherwise I'd be green with jealousy! I agree, babies in January are really tough but it takes the baby envy out of me a little until the rest of my sheep and goats deliver when I planned. Plus I do have to remind myself that we still have 13 ewes to go and four more does, so now the three that delivered are three less that I will have to deal with in March. And it makes the battle with the snow, ice, sleet with hot water buckets easier to deal with when I have baby goats to cuddle as my reward-

Oh. OH!

Have mercy. I cannot stand the cuteness. If you don't like these surprises, I'd be more than happy to come on over and take care* of them for you.

*Definition of "take care": make silly noises, get all googly-eyed, snuggle up with them, and nibble those darling ears

Oh, that little red and black girl of Mocha's is very interesting looking. Never seen one with markings like that before! So... if you are out in the barn with a camera at any point in the near future... Just saying... I wouldn't be sad about more pix!
