We just bought a 5-lb. block of un-cheese through PayPal. By sending it as a gift rather than buying goods or services, they get the whole amount of $25 and we pay the $1.03 PayPal service fee.
Pony, the FDA needs guns to protect themselves from US!

They have to keep fighting, FDA & other agencies can not get away with this or we are all going to be in for alot of surprises in the future I think! They'll be taking over everything we do! Or Trying!

Pony, do you know how to fix the links so that they will work? I will happily copy and paste it into emails if we can get the links right.
Also, we are up to 80 fans on the "Un-Cheese Party for Morning Land Dairy" Face book page. I try to add content to it every few days or so to keep it in peopl's minds.

And for any who don't do Face Book, here is a link I found today. Its from the L.A.Times and it details the raid that Morning Land Dairy's cheese was taken in.

Here ya go!
(Sorry it took so long to answer. Our daughter is visiting this weekend.)
****************************
A few months ago Morningland Dairy in Mountain View, Missouri had cheese confiscated in the Rawesome Food Club raid. Read the story about both http://www.newswithviews.com/Hannes/doreen107.htm here.
The raid on Rawesome was conducted by inspectors with GUNS DRAWN (see the video of the security cameras at Rawesome:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5zPh...r_embedded#%21
Since then, Morningland Dairy has been visited by FDA and the Missouri Milk Board, and have been ordered to destroy all their cheese, some 8 months work, the value is close to $250,000.00.
Please read about all of that http://morninglanddairy.webs.com/recallinformation.htm" (work your way up from the bottom of the page). There are several families involved in the production of the cheese and at the dairy. These families have lost their wages since August 26th. Morningland was forced to dump all of their milk for nearly six weeks and cannot make, or sell product at all. The FDA took many swabs of their cheese plant and tank room and all samples came back negative for any pathogens. Nothing found and yet they still must destroy their cheese. They are now able to sell milk into the commercial pasteurized chain, and that will allow them to keep the cows, but that’s about it.
Morningland has been consulting with legal counsel this week. They have no choice but to either close down or go to court and hope for justice. Somewhere we, consumers of wholesome foods, must draw the line in the sand or we are going to find ourselves eating nothing but dead, GMO laden, irradiated “food”. Sometime we have to stand up for what is right. We have an opportunity here to do something, to make a difference, to send a real message to FDA that we have a right to the food we want to consume http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/201...ate-contracts/ in spite of the fact that they say differently.
What I'm asking you do to is to make a donation to Morningland Dairy via an Un-Cheese Party. Since the cheese is under embargo, it cannot be sold or moved. But you can sponsor a 5 lb block. The price per pound for the cheese is $5.00. This fund will soon be converted to a full legal defense fund.
If Morningland does nothing they will be put out of business and will also, because they are a dairy farm as well, may be subject to frequent and continuing harassment by FDA and the Missouri Milk Board. They must go on the offensive.
I ask you to read through the links above and then click http://uncheese-party.webs.com this last link, which will bring you to a not-very-fancy page with instructions for making a donation via PayPal or through the mail. Morningland really needs your help to be able to afford legal council. It’s not just about cheese, it’s about your right to eat foods of your choice.
Thanks.
P.S. After making a donation, please forward this message on to your own email lists and groups.

We need to get as much of this out on the web as we can.
People need to know what's happening to our food system, and to our Republic.

Have they not had their cheese tested independently so they have some sort of proof that the cheese is safe. Might have missed that but curious to know as Id be pulling samples from ever batch if it was me and sending it off

I think MO Milk board is just trying to railroad those poor people, it isn't right what there trying to do & I really can't believe that they can get away with crap like that & that our country allows it. This is still a free country.
I say test the cheese they have & be done with this ridiculousness, it will prove someone goofed up on the tests or the procedure that they used to begin with. Can't those people see that, they are supposed to be smart I thought all those people that work for governmental agencies aren't they? I just can't figure out why that can't see what a waste of tax payer money they are wasting on all this rigamarow, all they need to do is test the chees they have for gosh sakes!
Anyone heard when the new court date is set for now?

The federal government is the driving force behind what *appears* to be the Missouri Milk Board's action.
It's not enough any more to say, "They shouldn't be doing this; it's a free country." If you don't write letters and make phone calls, this will simply be one more step toward government control of our food supply.
Who will they come after next if we stand by now wringing our hands?

I'm wondering if anyone has mentioned this to Jon Stossel... He was quite irate about the armed invasion at Rawesome Foods.

I've written my letters & sponsered some cheese also. I'll have to write some more letters & get some more of that un-cheese. I'll keep helping them as much as I can from here.

Here is another connection- the Feds now trying to stop folks on food stamps from buying sugary drinks.
Now, while I may agree that sugary drinks are indeed bad, the fact that the Feds are trying to limit what we eat and drink ties both of these issues together.
Since both issues are about control, connecting with those who are fighting for the freedom to choose is only going to make this movement larger.....
BTW> John Stossel has a website.

w00t!
Finally found John Stossel's email address:
stossel@foxbusiness.com
Get writin', folks. Let him know "The Rest of the Story" following the raid on Rawesome on which he reported. Ask him ever-so-politely to do a follow-up to show the far-reaching effects of that illegal raid in California - clear across the country to Missouri!

Pony, have you considered contacting Change.org and getting a petition started on there, it could be another way to get the word out about Morningside Dairy. Here is the link to start a Petition...

Emmy, that's a great idea!
Since you're so familiar with the site, why don't you go ahead and get that started?
Remember, folks, this isn't "Pony's Battle" - and it's not just Morningland or the Bechard's battle, either.
It's ALL Of us, together, taking a stand and spreading the word.

I will Pony, I almost started it before I sent you this post, but I didn't want to step on your toes!
Will post the link once the petition is up and running!
