We really don't have landscaping...I just mow with the tractor and that's about it! We have way too many weeds for the critters to keep up with. I guess it would be even worse without them!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone

Hmm..... so this is your yard, right? I keep tellin' dh that the yard wouldn't be a poo-pit with critters roaming it and it doesn't seem like yours is. Am I right?

I think because we have so much space the poop gets spaced out enough that it isn't a problem. If they were all just in that area all the time then it would get wrecked. We are on 10 acres and they roam most everywhere. We have 3 pastures and a large corral for the horses, the chickens and goats use them too.

Ah... not what I wanted to hear
We're only on a bit over three, with the horses in a field of a bit over an acre- maybe an acre and a half (long, thin acre). There's a small paddock next to the barn that could work for goats, but I don't want to loose my 'sick bay' paddock. That's where horses with illness/injuries can go so they're not cooped up unless need be.
So, I was pushing for the yard, lol.
Back to the drawin' board, I guess.....

Ha! I love the one eating the tree...
It's cool how you let them roam.
