If your goats are not used to snacks - marshmallows, peanut butter crackers, chips, etc., they aren't going to take to them the first time they see them. Goats are firmly entrenched in their traditions. Anything new is suspect.

mine weren't interest in the marshmallows at first either, I had to stuff one in her mouth, then she realized it was tasty.

motdaugrnds, I get the Copasure 12.5 gram boluses and then I have to open them anyway so I can divide them up for the goats. I simply put them into the snacks rather than smaller sized capsules.

yes I will try marshmallows and peanut butter now as snacks from time to time to get them interested in them to maybe make it easier for me next time.

Im not sure how people get pictures of goats laying down. If I got anywhere near that close they would be up and all over me :P
