Milking went much better this morning! I think she is finally warming up to us.
My hand and arm are aching a little from hand milking for the first time these last few days. We need to redo our milking stand because she will only let me milk her on the one side (the side the previous owner milked on) and the platform is to big for me to reach in from that side and it is making my shoulder sore. But that is an easy fix. So far my baby girl likes the goats milk so that is a great thing! We have not had enough milk yet to let the other kids really drink it. I have tasted that milk and I don't think it has an off taste at all.

They are all cute pictures but I like the one's with the chickens the best, I really think Lilly has made some new friends & bonding with the chickens!

Very nice, love the pics, congrats! Sorry your milk got stepped in, I hate it when that happens. Chickens like it though cause they get the milk then.
