I think it is awesome you were able to get ahold of a vet and manage to save the kids. Don't look at it that you lost the doe as much as you saved 3 kids! That is awesome.

Bad things happen with any livestock.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss - it brings back the panic I felt during one of my does' difficult deliveries. We were lucky and managed to pull the kid, but I can't imagine if there had been a third rushing out at the same time! You absolutely did the best you could under such circumstances. Try to be at peace & know how wonderful it is that you were able to save those kids. I wish you easy deliveries from here on out.
