Hope Frankie's feeling better soon.
Sounds like his head is hurting to me too. Probly the 3 of them got to playing a little rough, maybe he thought he was going to boss Momma?

When my Buck knocked his scurs off I used an ointment I got at TSC called Tri Care.
It says for horses & dogs but worked great on my buck. Never ran in his eyes or anything like that. It helps to keep bugs out of the area, antibiotic ointment in it & also a pain reliever in it as well which I liked. He never complained about it on his head only the part when I was applying it, probly was soar I imagine.

Frankie is doing ok. I don't think he will be head butting for a while. Flossie is very happy about that! The scur nub looks like it is healing and there hasn't been any more blood. Poor guy...I think he feels very vulnerable.

Glad he's feeling better!

Just after you posted this, Tango lost a decent-sized scur. He's our Head Goat and normally he'll butt the other goats apart when they're hassling each other. I could tell he was still hurting as he wouldn't butt the other goats, he'd bite their tails instead. Every time I thought he was going to butt somebody, he'd think twice at the last minute.

They may have hard heads, but those bloody scur nubbins have to hurt like crazy.
