Thank you for all the advice. I have owned dairy goats for the past 18 months, and have had two does kid last year with great success. This is my first kid so sick, your support is GREAT. There isnt a vet in my area for goats so I have to rely on the people who I have met..
My little girl did poop this morning yellow and hard she had been peeing I guess that is a good sign. I did give her bose sub q. I have not given penicillin yet but I am going to pick some up this morning. I have been giving her baking soda, with a syringe into her mouth and she is able to swallow. Her temp is still normal, she cannot hold herself up however she has held up her head for few seconds she was not able to do that last night.
Again thanks.

I wonder if she is just really constipated?

Use what ever you have that will have a tip on it and hold some warm soapy water.. insert the tip gently and only just into the rectum (with Vasoline on it for easy insertion) and hold baby across your lap while you sit on the edge of the bathtub.. baby feet hanging in tub.. squirt a small amount of the warm soapy water into the rectum - wait.. water will shoot out and followed by poop.. if no poop do it again.. It may take 5-10 times.. allowing the water to shoot out and hopefully poop too before adding more warm soapy water.. this may take 30min to an hour.. or more I do it in the tub so I can see the amount of poop and what it looks like.. tubs bleach out easily.. I use a home hair color bottle.. you can use ear syringe, a regular syringe with a long tip on it.. anything with a small tip and the possibility of holding and administering soapy water..
It really doesn't seem likely given the symptoms, but hey, it won't hurt.

I would give the baby an enema or a baby suppository. If she's not nursing, she needs to be tubed with goat/cow milk.

...

My experience might be of help.

I live in Virginia in an area where we are slightly deficient in selenium. In the past I have had kids born who were similar to what you are describing. They would even have their back legs stretched in back and unable to stand on them. This, of course, affected their ability to nurse.

I started a new born regime that has stopped the above-described incidents. When kids are born, I immediately give them each a big glob of probias paste to help get their rumens started. I give them each 1/4 cc Bo-Se and 1/4 cc of Nexel. I dip their navels in 7% iodine and make sure they are dry before I leave the barn. This has worked very well for my heard.

Good luck.
