I have begun collecting Nigerian Dwarfs simply because they are smaller and I can have more than if I had the bigger breeds. They produce great milk, too!
Another ND fan, fanatic maybe, YEAH!!! I love the little guys and I am terminal, yes I thought I had Lupus and everyone thinks I do(well maybe I do) but the truth is I have Goatitis. Actually I don't want help, leave me in my misery surrounded by loving little critters that think I am the most wonderful thing in the world. I like them more than some people.

And their milk, oh their milk, it is to die for.

Goatitis can also be transmitted through the internet.

LOL! I have (at present) a very mild case.

My neighbor, OTOH, is full-blown and perhaps terminal! She cruises Craig's List knowing full well that she isn't planning (note that I said "planning") to get any more goats.

But I think she's trying to make sure I get and stay MAJORLY hooked. She sends me great links to wonderful goats all the time.

Gasp!

Do you think she's an enabler???

LOL!

(Judy, if you're reading this, you KNOW that I appreciate your efforts!)

Goatitis LOL.. I've got it so bad that I got hit really hard by Goatitis after I got only 2 goats now I want more to add to the herd. Some for milking an some just to keep the land clear..

There is a saying you can't just have one.. Just like pringles chips you can't just have one..

I have had it for a year plus - and now Dh has it too!!!

This weekend I mentioned that we didn't have room to keep all of the kids even though I wanted to & he replied "welllll.... if we clear out the other half of the barn do you think we could fit more in there?" Hurrah!!!
