cmharris6002 01/10/10 08:55 AM

Her name is Essie, she is a 5 year old 4th freshener :)

ShyAnne 01/10/10 09:58 AM

I can not believe she hasnt pooped!!

cmharris6002 01/10/10 10:03 AM

Sure she has pooped, she just hasn't popped :D

ShyAnne 01/10/10 10:06 AM

LOL, my bad!!
see what happens when I am on goat watch! LOL!!

Oat Bucket Farm 01/11/10 02:23 PM

Anything?

jlgoinggreen 01/11/10 02:28 PM

You know, I just realized we don't really have a due date for her. I am sitting here feeling so bad because I thought she was over due. Hmmmm.....well, she will have some of the most watched babies born. LOL At least it keeps my mind from thinking about mine who is due on the 18th. ;)

cmharris6002 01/11/10 02:32 PM

She had two due dates, the 7th and the 14th. She lost her mucus plug right before the first due date but it looks like it was the second one that took. I swear dhe is even larger and lower than when I took the pic:baby04:

Ozarkquilter46 01/11/10 05:25 PM

I must check this about 10 times a day LOL I don't know how you all go though this

ar_wildflower 01/11/10 05:27 PM

Yeah this passes a little time while I wait on two hair sheep ewes that I just knew were about to go since Christmas!

shiandpete.1 01/11/10 07:14 PM

Any news? My 5 year old says 21 babies! lol

Oat Bucket Farm 01/11/10 09:15 PM

I keep coming back and checking this thread several times a day

Jcran 01/11/10 11:40 PM

I DEMAND a webcam! Dang goats and their evil ways! If I can get a baked potato out of a microwave in 6 minutes, high-speed internet connections, and instant messaging, why can't goats be a bit more "timely". I may be in my 40s, but I think I have bought into the "NOW" generation. Remember when a baked potato took 45 minutes in the oven?

cmharris6002 01/12/10 07:55 AM

I wish I had a web cam!!

Today her tail head is really sunken. No other changes to report yet but I'll keep you posted.

canadiangirl 01/12/10 08:18 AM

I haven't guessed but have been watching this thread. She looks so big in the picture. I'm going to guess she has to go tonight, 2 bucks and a doe- big ones : )

ar_wildflower 01/12/10 01:52 PM

Come on Essie!! You are a homesteadingtoday celebrity.

cathleenc 01/12/10 08:34 PM

I'm guessing three huge bucklings.

Ronnie H 01/13/10 04:44 AM

Starsmom 01/13/10 07:09 AM

I should show my daughter in law Essie's picture, then maybe she would quit complaining about being big..BTW, she is a tiny little thing and could not be BIG in her wildest imagination!

Cliff 01/13/10 07:30 AM

cmharris6002 01/13/10 07:30 AM

JUST TWO. One HUMONGOUS buckling followed by a perfect doeling.

LOL

That poor baby. She's huge!

petaddict 01/13/10 08:30 AM

Thanks for the before pictures. It's so funny what pregnancy does to a girl's appearances. Hardly seems fair. I thought for sure this morning there would be news of babies.

Rockytopsis 01/13/10 08:46 AM

Been checking to see if she poped yet, lol surely it can't be much longer.

jlgoinggreen 01/13/10 09:48 AM

Every time I look at my email and see an update from here I get so excited thinking Essie has blessed us with her babies (cmharris6002 you do realize these babies belong to all of us now. lol), only to read that we are still waiting. *sigh*

cmharris6002 01/13/10 10:27 AM

Oh WOW!!!! I change my mind. I predict 4 or 5 in there. I want mine to be the second one born. :D

mamahen 01/14/10 02:18 PM

Holy cow!! I mean goat.....Now that is impressive!

Look at her teeny little head and her ginormous belly...whoa baby!
