Verboten is German for forbidden.

Hope your kid pulls through! I had one that was too weak to stand on his own for almost 36 hours, I slept in the shed and would hold him up to momma to nurse every couple of hours. He eventually got his strength and by 48 hours was taking some shaky steps. And by the time he was a month old, he was romping and playing like his age mates.

If his legs are small enough, you might be able to use paper towel rolls But if they're too big I think I've read that some people use a PVC pipe cut in half and wrap with vet wrap or the like.

I'm really glad he's perking up! It sounds like he's going to be okay.

yes, but not sure of the efficacy of the stuff if given by mouth to a kid- when they are older and their rumens are working, it does not.

vitamine e should not effect the rumen if not gaven in very large doses and may help if this is a brain complication.
I would give the b complex sub q or under im because at this point I wouldnt upset his rumen with any risk and its not going to make a large difference on how you give it to him at this point. I like IM but you dont want to make him sore so I would go with sub q

Thanks! We loved him so much! He just had too many other problems and unfortunately didn't live too long. He was the size of my 4 week old buckling when he was 4 months old. He touched our hearts for sure!

Jill what did he die from? It would be awful to work so hard to save them and then have then pass when you thought you were out of the woods.

I really don't know. He was small, had bowed legs, no horns and real curly hair...almost like a lamb. My cousin raises boers and was going to put him down, so we took him and loved on him until he died. I think it was a blessing in disguise because as a meat goat he may have gotten too heavy for his little legs to support him.
