At this point she is producing just what they need. Yesterday she produced more than today.

Ask the person going to TSC to get some ketosis strips too. They will have them, might be a different name. Keto-Drench will make her feel sick if she doesn't have ketosis and discourage her from eating. I don't know all the ingredients in Keto-Drench but the main active one is propylene glycol. TSC should have that in gallon jugs.
It's really critical to get this doe to eat something. Try bananas, fresh browse, oatmeal cookies, raisins, Calf Manna, alfalfa pellets, or any treats she likes. The rumen flora need to have something to eat or they will die.

Are you sure that she does not have any other babies inside? I had a doe pass the placenta and everything and 20 hours later I went in and found another baby.
Take some Calcium pills of yours, a big handful (if you have some) and crush them to a powder, and let her eat all that she wants. That is what saved my doe that I pulled the baby from.
In all this have you gotten a temp?

So he is to get both the keto drench and the ketosis strips? She was eating yogurt. She is now with her babies and taking interest in them. Can I give her an antibiotic? I have Penject Procaine Penicillin G. If so how much?

Temp is too low... I think she needs injectable calcium... it is prescription only. Call your vet, and see if someone can get some for her. Don't milk her out all the way... just enough to relieve the pressure. Feed the kids bottles of milk from another doe... or else cow's milk from the grocery store. They already had colostrum, right? Good luck.

100.1 is too low. It's good that she's eating yogurt- that's something. See if you can get her interested in something with more fiber like browse or hay. You can check her rumen function too. Put your hand on the left side of her abdomen. You should feel a doughy lump. Keep your hand there for 1-2 minutes (time it). You should feel at least one wave or contraction during that time- hopefully more. If no contractions, she is loosing rumen function.
The ketosis strips are to test her for ketosis. If she is positive, then you will know what you are dealing with and can treat and monitor improvement accordingly. If she is not eating, she has or will get ketosis, regardless of what put her off feed in the first place.
About the antibiotic... I don't think it would do much good or much harm. It sounds like she got sick during or right after kidding, and that's too soon to be a uterine infection or retained placenta. It doesn't sound like she has any other infections that antibiotics would help.

Low temp, falling production, lethargy, likely quivery muscles or muscle weakness--classic milk fever. She is too low on calcium. ***Please*** read the article referenced above on dairygoatinfo.

Since I did not get a reply at that time I went ahead with the antibiotic. She is looking SO much better! After the antibiotic she had more interest in food. I think she just felt to sick to eat as now she is showing slight interest. She has gained all of her mommy interests back in her babies. Momma and babies are doing great for now. They shouldn't drink her milk if on antibiotic should they? She is still giving colostrum. The doe has had 14 oz that I know of and whatever she may have gotten from the teat. Her brother ate 24 oz and whatever he may have gotten from the teat. 14 oz was all the little doe would take for me. She is the smaller of the 2. I am sure the buck would be alright but how about the doe? Also the buck has always been really fussy and now that his mommas being a momma he has been so much better. Something mommy in me just wanted to cuddle him up but I knew that may discourage the doe from taking interest in it if it were so attached to me. So I was trying to not hold him to much. If the babies can't have the milk can chickens? They are not laying right now and that might help the egg production. Also thank you all for the kind words and help! I will tell you how she is tomorrow.

I can check again. Some information though. She is back to her old self. She ate all the clover and other things I clipped for her which was a lot and was still hungry. So I am going to give her 3 cups alfalfa and 1 cup grain twice a day. Well offer it anyways she has not taken an interest in that type of thing yet just clover and clippings.
