CrazyGoatGal, I have heard of what Betsy is talking about. Some of the courts have sided with the homeowners and some of the forclosures have been stopped.
For that matter, even if it ONLY buys you time, perhaps you will be in better shape in a few months!

You are in my prayers! Please take care of yourself and give yourself a moment to smell the flowers...
Also on the mortgage part of it and all I would suggest contacting Tom Martino, the trouble shooter. He is on TV here and on the radio, he used to be on around the country. Anyways he has alot of acccess to resources that could help you with your situation.
Good luck to you, I am sending you a prayer right now!

Every single one of you are a blessing to me and I thank you for your caring and prayers. You make me smile and that brings joy to my heart. Thank you for allowing me to be your friend.
My mortgage is through Farmers Home Administration and it is at 1% interest. I know I shouldn't have allowed myself to fall behind but there were so many added expenses last year with all my hospital stays that I just couldn't help getting behind. But if I don't have at least $5000.00 in unreimbursed medical expenses then I don't qualify for a moritorium or if I don't have a 20% decrease in my monthly income. I had roughly $2000.00 of added expenses but had been working hard to pay those down on my own and they weren't all "medical" but due to my medical situation which doesn't count. I am going to talk to some local politcal reps here and see if something can be done.
As far as my dad goes, I am probably not the best one to care for him, health wise, but my one sister lives in New Jersey and took care of him when he was in the hospital and rehabs and is dealing with a divorce, two kids, and is a busy lawyer. My other sister took her life almost three years ago, and my brother lives with his girlfriend and they don't have a place for him to sleep that would be good for his hip. He was supposed to alleviate the burden from me a bit more than he is doing though.
I went to the doctor and on top of alll of this, my Lupus is full blown. I suspected I was in a flare just due to the pain, but now my local doc is bumping my steroids to 80mg. from 20mg. and then I will taper over the next two weeks. I am really starting to get a negative attitude regarding this carp. I work hard to stay positive but I am just too darn tired and sick of being sick and tired. Thanks I needed to say that.
Take care all and until I get back--Thanks and each and everyone of you are a precious jewel to me. Lynn

I just have to say that you all getting me all weepy. Truly, I am just so over whelmed with the kindness of people who have never met me or really know me personally. For all you know , I am a con artist(a really bad one though or I would be rich right now).
I know there are people out there with so much more to deal with and I try not to think selfishly, but its tough right now.
And I really need to downsize so that hopefully I can keep at least a few of my favorites. I can't bear the thought of losing all of them. And I don't want to just give them away because I want to ensure they go to a fantastic home and not some fly by night impulse buyer. I really wish more of you lived closer, I would love to maybe even work out a lease thing. Most of my does are due in July, I only have one due now and she looks like she swallowed a watermelon sideways. Theres got to be at least 3 in there or two basketballs! Thanks again.

Please Just talk to the bank & see if they can't do something, anything.

Ah, that is the crazygoatgal that I miss. I love that you do still have a glimmer of your good sense of humor. Hang on to that as best you can, as it will help you through.
As someone who has been ill for a long time with innocuous disease(s), I know what you're going through and you're in my thoughts. You're strong, you can do this!

Just a brief but very heartfelt "thank you" for all the kind words and prayers. I so looked forward to coming on this morning and visiting with all of you even if it is only with words. I only have a minute to be here but hope all of you have a blessed day and a great weekend.
I had my first baby born on April 15th. Mama looked like she was going to have 3 but Murphys Law reigns here and she had a singleton buck. But he is awesome and the strongest baby that has ever been born here. Hopefully pics will follow. He is black with a large white "7" on his side and leg and a white ring around his other leg and blue eyes. Mama is very protective and is doing well but is FAT! I still cant believe that there was only one in there. What a stinker!!!
