Seems like a rough year on kidding for some of us so far..me included. Sometimes things just don't work out well after years of no problems. Just continue to care for you goats and read as much as possible on their care as you can. Just like having human kids..just when you think you have things figured out..they surprise you with another problem. If you haven't already..ask your vet what supplemental shots you can give your does for your area. This is the heartaches we get at times for caring and loving our animas. Guess in me it was the "city girl" up bringing and want to make everyhthing a pet. Hope you have a better spring in days to come..

((HUGS))

The thing I hate about loving anyone or anything is that we always seem to lose them

you were lucky to have had each other

hang in there

Sorry you lost them

As far as grabbing the feet, I use my three middle fingers. I put one finger on the side of each foot -one in the middle- and curl my fingers and I'm able to grab them this way. I make sure to keep the leading foot in front of the other, not pulling them even. Hope I'm explaining well. I do have strong hands.

So sorry for your losses. I and my doe are just recovering from a bad kidding, we lost both kids. She has made it, but I was really afraid she wouldn't.
I really understand how sad it is.
Hang in there.
