I am sorry too. Best to the babies. Would you happen to have some pictures of 'um around to boost our spirits?

So sorry for your loss...my one and only doe that had Ketosis died also, it is a very hard thing to get a doe through.

I am trying to figure out what I could change so that this will not happen again. It has been a trying week - dealing with a mare that lost her baby, a mare that is 10 days overdue, Goldie getting sick and then dying, my DH is out of town, my DS informed me that he is failing classes but needs money, bottle feeding and caring for the doelings, the fox ate one of my roosters, was going after another but he went between the doelings and I missed out on the buck because I had to pick him up last night if I wanted him - like I said, it has been a trying week.

He will get home on Friday. He works in Miami during the week. I think that he does this to escape the hormonally challanged teenagers that swarm the farm.

I have a hormonally challenged teen here too, I wish I could escape at times!
