The doe looks like an Alpine/Togg cross, and the kid looks to me like it has even more Alpine. The kid, by the way, looks great.

4h - you did a GREAT thing by rescuing this Mama and her baby.

I know that you didn't ask about weight in your OP but you posted a picture and people give input on here - solicited or not. I read back through the entire thread and nobody came off as rude to me. Direct? Yes, but not rude. Helianthus even came back to clarify.

I love the community on this forum because, by and large, the people here care about each other and about animals, in general. We all need to take unsolicited advice as an extra measure of caring for your animals.

Again, great job with the rescue and keep us up-to-date on her!

much better!! i belive it could have been the angle of the pic that made her look so skiny, id put a lil more weight on her though but i like my girls to be "full" lol!
