That picture of those babies in the bucket is so cute! Also the last one of them where they look like they are going to fly!

When I have a goat that seems a little off or maybe not feeling well I make up the electrolyte water: 1 liter warm water, 2 TBSP sugar or honey, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. Baking soda. They will usually suck that right down. It surely won't hurt her. I have never had a goat with a C-Section though but it will at least get her to drink some fluids.

Also if giving the antibiotics you might want to give her some yogurt too for her rumen bacteria.
Are you feeding the kids or are they nursing from Candy? If they are staying springy & active they must be getting milk. If they weren't they would go down really fast at this age.
Keeping my fingers crossed for Candy!

Not looking better - Goats

Is there anything else that I should be giving Candy? I did pick up calcium glu...(sp) and dextrose at TS but it is for cattle and I was not sure about for Candy.

I LOVE this pic!

If your doe needs calcium shots, use either CMPK or Norcalciphos. They, too are labelled for cattle, but have the balance of minerals a goat needs. They are RX from the vet.

Candy seems to be better this morning. Even more of a rodeo gal and she was interested in some oats and eating peanut and alfalfa hay. Her temp was 102.6 so I did not give her more banamine.

She has had more discharge this morning than yesterday but still with no really smell to it - not sure if that is good or bad. Hannah has not had any discharge for days - they both gave birth on Thursday about 4 hours apart. Hopefully the LA200 is kicking in and her body is just flushing her system.

Make sure the calcium you have is the CMPK and not just the cattle CMK gel or drench. For the calcium to work correctly, they need calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium. If it's the tube gel, the dose would be 30 mL. I have an applicator gun for mine that can be set at 5mL or 10mL, and I give them three squirts (as per my vet). What kind of grain are you feeding? She's been sick, so you might have to cut back to something basic, like plain oats, and work up from there.

How on earth do you get those babies to stay in the bucket? Mine would be out in a flash.

Those are WONDERFUL pictures.
