You did the best you could and most important; you tried. Lots of kids wouldn't have been given a chance like that.

I think I would have stuck with the milk and focused on providing the heat until she started to make her own.

Sorry you lost the kid. I would not give a kid pedialite instead of milk. They need the nutrition of milk. She may well have had something really wrong with her congenitally. You gave it your best.

Thank you all for your support through this. I posted when it hurt in hopes it genenated any ideas and to allow others to learn with me.
For clarification, I always used warm milk (and the one warm pedialite) and only when her temp was up. When her temp was down, I waited till whe was warmed back up.
This kid was exceptionally dificult for me. (yes, I have lost my share, but this one was teh hardest for some reason.)
She was so darn pretty and spunky. She did super in the house for a 6 days before any difficulty. It was really very hard when I gave up on Sunday, then she improved Monday, then declined Tuesday. She was a runt and maybe there was something wrong, but why then had she done so well for a week? I would have taken her to a vet Tuesday, I called them several times, and they just said warm and feed. That was frustrating. I wish so much I could find a vet that I had cofidence in, and wouldn't charge a morgtage. Here, I would have paid the morgtage for her if I had confidence in the vet.
I love my horse vet, but she just won't do goats.

"I guess you must of updated after I posted the time before." Yes, I guess it was not very clear the first time, sorry.

And, yes, she did nurse from mom with-in 3 hours of birth. So it was not lack of colustrum.

Everyone loses animals. You tried your best for her. That's enough.

Yes, you can use simethicone for bloat. I have it on-hand but have not yet needed to use it.

I'm sorry you lost her, you worked really hard. Sometimes, though, they just have something "wrong" with them that won't let them live and it is better to lose them earlier than later. For future reference, sometimes they seem to miraculously improve if they have a buddy baby goat to snuggle with. The sound of the other baby's heartbeat seems to comfort them. This is one reason why a sick baby will often come to bed with me, wrapped in a warm towel, to lay on my chest and hear my heartbeat. They have documented the strange benefit with siamese (human) twins.
