[QUOTE=ozark_jewels;3589493]The ice/snow has kept me too busy to post much lately.
Miracle had buck and doe twins on the 26th, but a horrible birthing experience in which I lost Miracle and the two kids. Long story...
Emily, I am so sorry!!!! And I share your loss. I was just thinking of you and how your family was coping. My parents have been busy in Nothern Ar. (they are in Mtn. Home) working as first responders. Please know my thoughts are with you - Miracle was a great girl and a wonderful mom. I am sure you did everything in your power.
Hugs.

Yes, it is. Sunshine has a beautiful body and udder. But she and I do *not* get along. I only kept her to get another doeling(sold her 1st one) and in the four years I have had her since then, she has given me live but sickly twin bucks, a dead buckling, a dead doeling and one year she did not breed at all. Not an asset to have in the gene pool!! So this year she is gone. As soon as this ice is melted, she will be in the freezer.

They are all adorable!! I really like these last two. One looks offended that you took her picture. The other looks quite comfy in the wheelbarrow.

Thanks Christi.......It was another learning experience. A painful one. I think it may have had a better outcome if I hadn't been so worn out from keeping everything fed/milked/watered in this ice. Who knows....

Praline(2008 doeling) had twin does. Her kids are 1/32nd Lamancha and one *still* came out with elf ears. Think I'll keep her just too see if the *next* generation has ears or not!LOL!!
Cherry Cola(2008 doeling) had a single doe.
High Jinks(2008 doeling) had buck and doe LaBoer twins.

Cherry Colas kid is the kid on the left. High Jinks doeling is on the right.
Shamrock(2008 doeling) would have had a single buck, but he was in a terrible presentation and I ended up taking her to the vet who had to cut the kid out. Needless to say....no pic.
Mattie Girl had buck and doe twins.
I've been very pleased with the kids from my baby Boer buck. Here are some of his first percentage kids.
