Trying to get there in April. I have a house in Mountain View right now. I just looked at your photo bucket and wow are those flood pic's from the place your at now? Your animals all sure look good. I just love baby goats!!
I'd love to meet you to! I've met a lot of good friends by "meeting" on HT. In fact, I have good friends that I have never even met in person.
Yes, the flood pictures were taken in the bottom field and the field below our place.

Emily time for another dumb question. What is that thing in the kid pen picture that is made out of the rim if I may ask?

Not a dumb question at all. That is my lambar bucket holder. Once all the kids learn how to eat from the lambar bucket, I just set the bucket in there and walk away, job done.....nice! Now, do you know what a lambar bucket is?

The ice/snow has kept me too busy to post much lately.
I will try to get pictures up in the next couple of days, but here is an update:

Oreo had buck and doe twins on the 24th.

Strudel had buck and doe twins(the first kids out of my young Boer herdsire) on the 25th.

Miracle had buck and doe twins on the 26th, but a horrible birthing experience in which I lost Miracle and the two kids. Long story...

Sunshine had a single dead doe on the 27th(the doe kid I have been waiting for 4 years to get), so that is her last chance. She does not have healthy kids and she will be butchered now rather than pass her problems on to someone else.

Escapade had twin does on the 28th. They are *beautiful*! The first kids out of my young Lamancha herdsire, Amberwood Eclipse Of The Moon.

Kenya had twin does on the 28th.

So some good news, some *very bad* news.
