I'm in the NE corner of WA state, not all that far from the border. Last summer I called the "closest" feed stores north of the border and found one that stocks it and was going to go for a visit. I chickened out, though. I couldn't think of a place in a tiny car to "stash" the chilled contraband.
Maybe I just need to find myself a Canadian friend...

I should have just gone for it. I made some calls and, sure enough, Glanvac is no longer available in Canada.... lack of demand, according to one call. It's still available in Australia, not that I have an Aussie pal, but I'd be concerned about the weather. It's summer there, so the vial would need to be packed with a chilly-pac, but it's absolutely winter here and I'd be concerned about it freezing.
The guy at Colorado Serum said they are anticipating a summer release of their new made-for-goats CL vaccine.
I had spoken to someone at UC Davis and WSU regarding vaccinated goats testing "positive"... both said that vaccinated/negative and positive goats will both come back "positive". I neglected to ask if it was a titer test or what... probably should have.
Colorado Serum said that negative goats, vaccinated or not, will come back negative and that a goat that comes back positive, is... just may not have symptoms yet. I told him what the person at UC Davis said and was told that he was going to have someone from the Immunology Dept. call UC Davis and that he would get back to me. I'm wondering if Colorado Serum uses a titer test in their lab and Davis/WSU just use a +/- test?? I'll post an update when I have one.
