Usually, the doe is down and lying with all legs squarely under instead of the casual on-one-side-with-extended-foreleg of the content resting doe. A doe who is having a strong contraction will grunt, curl her lip, extend her neck and go mmmmmmmmmmBAAAAAAAAWWWWAAAHHH

A doe should not labor with hard pushing and yelling for more than 1/2 hour, IMHO. I check my does who can't come up with a hoof or nose in 1/2 hour and they always have bad presentations. A doe that makes a few pushes and then starts putting her forefeet on the wall & buckets and otherwise standing up, also gets a check. They can feel a bad presentation and try to fix it.

How about "At Last" for a name? You could start a dynasty of song name Toggs

It's a boy. I was here during delivery and even helped. Pictures to follow soon.

10 lbs. I didn't think his head would ever get out of the cervix. I had to go in and massage the opening to help everything stretch out. Thanks to everyone how post their experiences on this forum it helps during excited moments.

Big Eddie would be a great name, but we have all been over ruled by my six year old daughter. She saw him and said hey lil JONAS.....Jonas it it then.
The doe is her's and well if she says Jonas then Jonas it is.
