Yep get her out of that birthing pen and let her get some exercise, a good jog down the road seems fine  Does who have kidded alot can have mucous show for several weeks, they also fill their udders, but that shiney full udder when even through the hair you can see that rear udder shineing is the true, I am going to kid. Also a doe who doesn't eat her morning grain, will usually kid that afternoon. Why I fill mine up with new hay and alfala pellets in the evening and offer grain in the a.m. the last 50 days of pregnancy.
The stretching and yawning, and stargazing are impending births in young does, but in older does, braxton hicks contractions and getting 2 or 3 or 4 kids lined up can take another week So she is due in the next 30 minutes or the next 21 days Good luck. vicki

oy more waiting! i keep telling her mommys gona go crazy if she doesent kidd soon, but vianna doesent care XD infact this morning someone left the front door open and she helped herself up onto the couch o.o shes never! Ever! been allowed inside my house yet all of them think they belong in here..silly goats, Thanks vicki!

haha thanks!! im so excited! i just went out to check on her again and she didnt get up(she ALLWAYS gets up) just rested her head on the fence....so excited!

so...i called my friend thats been doing goats pretty much her whole life, Kaythren Burns, and she said to go in and see what i could feel, so i did, i feel feet in the sack...but shes not contracting and i didnt go that far up at all! so i called her back told her, she said to give her another half an hour and if thiers no feet sticking out than shes gona walk me through it..i hope "it" isant pulling, but ill do it if need be....im so nervious....what if im wrong and shes not in labor, but shes acting diffrent doing all the things....i need a lil reasureance....

Call Katheryn back ina half hr and tell her whats going on. Sounds like you have a great mentor. Listen to her.

thanks im so nervious....i jsut had my other goat owner friend call me and say if she had that bloody mucasy stuff earlyer the babys are dead by now....but Katheryn says its okay....i trust katheryn but my other friend planted that lil bit of doubt ya know?

How are things going? If you felt feet real close to the vagina, she should ready to deliver and may need help. At least you know the position of the first isn't too bad (if at all bad).
Have you been to the fiascofarm site? They have all sorts of pictures and diagrams of what you should feel and see.

I have been around very LOUD does and very quiet does. One doe I watched give birth without a peep, and she did seem to struggle a bit for a while. Not so much as a moan, not even after the babies came out!
