You could linebreed on Chivas if you wanted to improve type, Chivas is known as a super udder buck but he can also add a shallow, narrow body. He's not exactly a buck to improve milk production, either. But his strong traits for teat placement and rear udder height seem to be very dominant and might come to the fore in a close breeding.
I'd rather add dairy quality.....the girls are young and hard to tell anything about their bags yet, but I would like to get them producing in the 2500-3000lb range consistently. All my grils have good confirmation, but who knows about the milk bucket, thats something different entirely.
