There is really no way to "worm slowly". either you give the animal enough of a dose to kill all the worms (hopefully) or you end up giving them just enough to kill off the ones that aren't resistant leaving them to reproduce and populate the goat with worms that are potentially even more resistant. True, that evacuation of large numbers of worms can cause serious problems but in that case the parasites themselves are likely to kill the goat. When people blame deaths on the wormers They are just trying to displace the blame. the solution to this is to not get that high of a worm burden of course, not worm to create resistance. wanted to point htat out so people don't try and "worm slowly"
If this baby hasn't been in much with adults it seems unlikely to have a large parasite burden. bottle jaw is soft. pale lids mean anemia though so start looking into possible reasons for that. mineral deficiency? what are you feeding? replacer or milk? does she have a temp??
