I think we can call the above an admission that Gail treats her livestock like babies! lol

He looks like a healthy little guy from the pictures. Good weight and fur from what I can see. I am comparing him to the size of your girls in the background and he does not look like a month old, he looks older.
Keeping him on a bottle longer will not hurt him a bit. I usually wean at 3 and a half months old but on my skinny boy I got last month I am keeping him on for a few extra weeks. He needs more than the usual bottle babies. I hope I do not turn him into a moose. I already have one of those!

I think he's probably 2 months comparing pics I have of my doeling. Horns and teeth are about 2 months size. His weight though is that of a 1 monther. Though my doeling is a big girl so maybe I should give him a little slack there. We had more progress this morning he ate 7 1/2 ounces of milk willing all by himself. I offered it once he didn't refuse it but wouldn't take it I offered it again and he sucked it down. He's getting better each time. I went to pet him and he jumped a little but let me continue to pet him. This is progress. At first he would not allow me to touch him. So we are doing good. I think my persistence helped a lot. My love for animals I guess helps me to do this. I want them to be healthy so I do whatever it takes no matter how long it takes. Some people would have given up on the little fellow. I could never do that.

YES! Nothing leaves this place. I'm even attached to some of the others posters on the forum animals. Right now it's Stinker...the goat that might have CL.
