I truely don't want to take your excuse away for buying a new pressure cooker.... but, I must tell you that I found a new weight at the local Ace Hardware! They even have gaskets for pressure cookers/canners.
So, unless you just really want to buy one, you might could find that little thing.
I think monsters took mine once, it just went *poof* into thin air and was gone.
