I am Marisa's mom. I can vouch for no serial killers coming from this house (or yurt) . We will probably be pretty easy to spot. I look forward to meeting everyone. I didn't get to attend last year so I am pretty excited. I am going to take the soap making and cheese making classes for sure and I'm not sure what else.

Kathleen (BlueJuniperFarm) I think we will get at least two packets (Marisa always makes us pre-register for everything so I think I'll be guaranteed packets). I can send our extra one if you like. I'm sorry you can't come, I really would have liked to meet you. I know you live a long distance though.

Marisa nothing yet on Brandy. She is starting to loose her ligs though and has a bit of discharge but nothing major. I expect babies in the next day or two as I don't see how she could hold out much longer . Poor gal....

Justine
ps: I can vouch for Marisa and her mom also for being normal!

Good luck with brandy!! How cold is it at your place? It is 28 right now but it has been getting into the teens at night and it is supposed to start snowing tomorrow around noon.
Hope is not too cold at up your way and Brandy has a uneventful birth!!

Marisa
ps: We will be getting 3 packets(one per person) so we can defiantly send you one BlueJuniperFarm.

It has been real cold at night here too. Low 20's to high teens at night. Brandy is getting closer but we shall see. She can loose her ligs so fast that with her it is hard to tell (she also LOOOVES to keep me guessing ).

Don't they always I had a doe last year, I had two due dates one for the 7th and one for the 29th she let the buck mount her for both heats, After 5 days past the 7th I decided she was due on the 29th even though she looked like she could have them any day. I went to my grandpas and I got a call about 3:00 pm in the afternoon on the 14th and that Lily had just had triplets in the field and they were carrying them down to the barn as we were talking. So I missed that birth but I only have one due date for her this year and I am not going to let her out of my sight
Hope she waits till it gets warmer.

Hope you girls get to go....the weather is so iffy. Now they are saying rain and 36...well rain at 36 isn't liquid!

I have a Nigerian (first time with ND does) that going by when I saw the act isn't due until the February 22nd, but she is looking like she may have had a sneaky visit somewhere around August 24th! I'm not ready and I don't want babies at 22 degrees! This is what I get for not raising them from babies...I don't know what to expect out of does that kidded before I bought them.

Hi guys, another Oregonian here =o)
I am pretty sure I will be going to the conference too. I was there last year but didn't end up staying because I purchase a bred doe and picked her up there. Just wanted to get her home and settled in. So definitely excited this year about it.

As for the cooold weather, I am happy the ground is getting a good hard freeze after all the wet sloppiness. Helps keep the parasites down.

I will try to go, as well.

You'll know who I am if I wear my sunglasses, right?

Only 4 more days!
So where and when are we all going to meet? I was thinking lunch time?
I was thinking maybe just around by where the raffle table is? Somewhere in the lobby?
From what I remember there is a place in the lobby that had a bunch of chairs in a corner?
