Well there is the obvious ideas bright pink wig, giant sunglasses, a shirt that we could write " Homesteading Forum" on
But maybe we could all just meet somewhere about or during raffle time in the main building? or maybe meet before the classes start between 8:00 to 8:30 am?

I'd love to be able to go, but between the uncertain weather at this time of year (I'm on the east side of the mountains), and the high price of gas (my only vehicle gets about 12 mpg), I don't think we'll be able to make it. Besides, by then I should be milking again, if my doe is actually pregnant, and couldn't be away for the two nights that a trip like that would require. Maybe those of you who are going can do some reports for those of us who can't go?
Have fun, anyway!

If we did the t-shirt thing we would probably get some looks wondering what it means
Ok I like your idea better , since they already give us name tags we can just place the sticker next to it that says our forum name, and my mom already has some blank stickers.
Yeah I guess I am lucky but I have to go to collage for 8 years.

Good for you! All 4 of my homeschoolers started college at 16. Two went away to university, and two go to PCC. Would we have seen you at State Fair?

I will look for your name tags, to make sure you aren't all secret serial killers, and then come introduce myself. I'd feel silly wearing my screen name on a badge all day... Are you planning to meet at a certain time/place?

Lunch sounds good - or maybe we'll all be taking a seminar together - except we'll be giggling and gossiping about HST and the speaker will have to tell us to shut up.... Before is probably too early for me. I'm a grump before 9 AM. Sometimes after too.

Maybe lunch is better, I am not a morning person either.
Just wanted to let you know that the website has been updated again and has the confirmed speakers and topics and the tentative ones. The registration form will be up sometime next week.

Justine,
I talked to my mom and she said she would love to stop by your place and see your cute little bottle baby's but we have a 2 hour drive or so back home and mom is not fond of driving in the dark.

It's a conference with speakers and clinics, put on by various groups and individuals, and is at Clackamas Community College.

Bummer Marisa .
Nellie where abouts do you live? If you look on the link that Obe-Willow (Marisa) provided it gives some info on the conference. I recommend that you and your daughter go . It is so much fun and you can learn so much not to mention meet some really cool people .
Oh Marisa I forgot to mention IF you guys wanted to stop by for just a wee bit the sun shouldn't be setting until 6ish if you guys wanted to stop on your way back home .
Justine
ps: I think meeting for lunch sounds like a good idea.

How far do you live from the conference Justine? They are going to have the raffle during the last session and then people can pick up there winning on there way out, so maybe since we will be leaving half hour early we may bee able to stop by for a few minutes but I still have to ask my mom.
The website has been updated yet again and has the registration form and the confirmed schedule on it.
