Hee-Hee.....I just don't show pictures of the ugly ones...... But thank you.

Alex, the ink is one both sides of the ear because my tattoo pliars go all the way through the ear. So while I do only put the ink on the inside of her ear, I take a toothbrush and scrub the ink in after tattooing, then take the same inky toothbrush and scrub the back of the ear as well. Inhibits any blood that might try to seep.

Reading all these reminded me of the time I tried to releave some pressure from my Boer doe's udder once. She would not let me touch her so here I am, with her head locked in the feeder, me straddling her body facing her tail, streatching her out and locking my legs in front of her back legs, bent over, milking between her legs under her tail. Forget about trying to keep the milk at that point.

Time to buy a Saanen milker! Low fat and high milk!
Hey! My highest cream producer is my 4 year old Saanen - waaay more than my NubianX or my Alpine. And she's milking 6 litres a day (about 13 pounds) right now.

I won't be milking my %Boer when she kids - she's got fish teats. Milk shower, anyone?
