I won't guess lamancha (although she has the bugged eyes) because the ear gene is so dominate, even 1/4 would show.

Not boer, too fine boned.

That leaves Nubian. Deep bodied, but that face is swiss. Ears are not quite full enough to be nubian.

The red (dominate color) dappling I've seen in other like crosses, and the finer stature, and the swiss face - I'll say Oberhausli.

75 Nubian, 25 Ober

Here are some pictures of her ancestors. This goats' name is Peggy Sue, she was one of tripletts; Buddy, Holly, and Peggy Sue. Her dam is Pecan and sire is Red.

Here is mom Pecan when she was pregnant with the tripletts.

Well I didn't get here in time to make a public guess, but the face stripe and shape told me Togg (I have Togg/Alpine) and then the ears and body indicate mostly Nubian. Nice doe!

I was thinking saanan and nubian, but thought that might be too obvious.

I think she's precious.

she is precious, she makes the cut this year to take through the winter, her sister does not.

She does not have any face strips. The picture does not show it clearly, but she has no face markings, it is all one color! You can tell by her baby picture that she was more reddish, she has whitened out this year.

I would have guessed nubian/saanen if I had not seen her born to a Togg/nubian cross.

How??? I sat and looked at the face shot for a few mins and then looking back at all my brain pictures! I remember helping show a 9 year old Togg and she had the same face! Thats how!

Must I say what a good looking Nubian buck! :baby04:

I have to say that her face just screamed La Mancha to me, but I can't guess anyway since someone else already got it right before I even saw her! She's very pretty though and has an adorable face!
