Thanks for the reply. She is costing me nothing. Not a red cent. Grass and browse grow free. She will not cost me a red cent until she gets on the trailer to be sold, either.
She is a very nice doe, bought pretty cheap.
This guessing game is for fun only.
Well .... and also because we like to look at goat butts, as that rascal Gailann pointed out.
Who else wants to guess?

want to start guessing how much money you could have made if invested, even if only a couple of dollars, somewhere else? here at my farm, time is money as well. unless you did not need to pay for her, than you can disregard my question
i think you are the master in managing your herd or your farm with minimal investment. than there is absolutly no room for an unproductive goat and i vote with your DW

Actually, the old broad leaves Nov. 10, with my auction load.

I think this is a great thread - lots of fun!
She is a wonderful looking doe - I sure hope she pops out a couple of kids for you. But with no udder developing. . .

I get enough "what exactly do you DO WITH YOUR GOATS" inquiries without painting up her butt.
The buck showed interest in her in July, and I saw him mount her. He has not show any interest in her since then. If he bred her, she'd kid mid-DECEMBER.

So, you're saying, you raised the suspense, and now you are going to leave it all unanswered for all eternity?

Let's recap, Hazy. I won't spend $10 to get her preg tested...but I'm gonna send her to you!
Heheheheh!
By 11/10, if she was to kid mid-December, I would know definitively she is bred. Actually, if you look at her butt from the August shots, and you look at it in the ones I just posted today, you can pretty well tell now, I think.
There is no doubt I would love to have at least one kid of either sex from her, especially now that I have the second buck. She's on the sked to leave 11/10 with the auction load. Hauling her up there by herself is a money-loser.
Don't panic...11/10 is a month away. She would be 4 months preg by then, and undeniably showing it...if she is preg...

Hazy, the stain is her own pee dribble because her rear has expanded so much.
