Go here to see River: http://fourmilefarm.com/Bucks.html

He is black with a few white spots here and there, but he comes from a line of more colorful goats than he is. And Velvet's sire is a half brother to River, so this kid is line-bred by design. Hey, Design! That might be a good name! LOL

I love all the names... Color Me Puzzled sounds cool,, too... and you could have lots of spinoffs for her eventual stunning kids, too.

Is Rio your ranch name or do you have a ranch name of your own? I like Fannie Mae Freckles....hehehe. I think Fannie would be cute for a goat. There's my input. I think she is so cute and unique. I would steal her away if you weren't so far!! LOL Let us know what you decide on for a name!!

We had a hard time because of so many wonderful suggestions!

Our registered ADGA herd name is Four Mile, so I think we are going to go with:Four Mile Velvet River Valley because DH really likes that one and it was his suggestion! He usually doesnt care what I name them, so I want to let him choose.
I liked some of the other names better, but Oh Well!!
Maybe I could figure out how to squeeze some of the other ones I liked in there and call her "Valley".

I'm saving this great list of names for future generations!

I honestly have to say that this is the first calico goat I have ever seen. I did not realize that goats could have 4 colors in a coat... if I'm seeing her right there is gray, white, black, reddish brown.
What a colorful little girl. Congrads!
