So sorry for your loss's...but it does get better.
Here we use Seaweed meal...seperate to their minerals cos we use a block and the seaweed meal is powder....they eat what they want. While a doe is pregnant too we give Apple cidar vinegar to help acheive healthy strong kids...seems to work.

Honey, I wouldn't be whining, I would be sobbing! You can keep the four, give them GOOD nutrition and good care & next year, you will do really, really well! You will be amazed how fast a goat herd can grow.

I am so sorry you are going through this!

Yup, we have the girls on kelp now as well. $$$ stuff but hopefully worth it!

Thanks for the permission to sob. LOL This is NOT the start I was hoping for! But we'll get through it. Thankfully we haven't lost any mamas so I can be thankful for that.

The seller has offered us some purebred Boer buck semen he has in storage as compensation. That was nice of him!
