Oh, the sire of the kids is A Proverbial Caprine Calypso. Penny's registered name is Cooterneck-Farm Sweet Penny .

Ok....this is what *I* would do.
As this doe is a first-freshener and you don't know how she is going to turn out, *and* the sire was Calypso......I'd reccomend wethering him. Calypso threw lots of milk and beautiful, correct kids for me, but he only threw great udders on kids from does who already had great udders. He was not an udder *improver*. I only ever sold two bucklings intact out of him and they were exceptional out of exceptional mature does. I never sold bucklings sired by Calypso out of first-fresheners, no matter how nice, as I wanted to see how the doe matured out her second freshening before commiting to a herd sire out of her and Calypso. He was a nice buck....just had to match him with the *right* does. Very cute kid there.
