They sell Western Alfalfa here,.. Costs about ummm $12 or something like that...
It is very heavy and I cannot get it out of my truck without help.
It must be pretty good stuff, the donkeys and horses love it LOL
I usually bale my hay here and that is what the goats get, for the most part. The other day friend and I went to get some for extra back up and when I got a bale out and went through it there was a bit of mold there. I do not trust mold, so I will be notifying these people. Nice for yall to share your thoughts on the alfalfa hay. You can never know enough, right and you don't know if you don't ask.

So, how is the emergency going?? Any good news for us??

update: so far, so good. Wilks (the buckling) appears much impoved tonight (I know this can go back downhill quickly and by no means am I counting us as out of the woods) I did go ahead and give the pen g & banamine. Will continue with the thiamine as well. He is on his feet and an hour ago was standing with mom, eating hay. He is much more alert. Can see again and has good contol of his head. Again thank you all for the support. Keep the good wishes coming. Here's a pic of Wilks & his sister Charlotte.
