fescue in e tn you will have even if you dont want it. for goats mine always like a rougher pasture than cows as in previous posts. as far as im concerned ser lep is the best. i read the tannin report i hope its right we need something to help w/worms. i worked up a field in the 1970s of fescue,orchardgrass added ser lep its still going strong wish i still owned the land. ag lime is gone in a few years i put concrete block makings was a crusher run w/1/4 inch pellets they make the block from will last for a long time breaks down slower after ag lime about 20% in mix is gone. 3ton per acre was called for. just my 2cents ser lep is the best goat pasture in these hills. later nfp

Been away. Busy, busy. All I can say is, I ran cows on that patch of SL years. They ate it in TN, maybe not as much as they liked orchardgrass, but they ate it. And it has not been invasive here.
